The NI Conservatives are inviting prospective candidates to apply to stand for election to the European Parliament in 2014. Applicants are asked to submit their applications in writing by 29th March 2013, including a short CV detailing relevant skills and experience. Submissions from all candidates who commit to delivering centre-right politics in Northern Ireland, as NI Conservatives, will be considered.
NI Conservatives’ chairman, Irwin Armstrong, emphasised the importance of the election. “The party’s candidate in 2014 will be an excellent communicator, who is dedicated to taking forward fresh, pro-Union, centre-right politics for the benefit of the people of Northern Ireland”, Irwin said.
“They will be determined to help create jobs, reward hard work, protect the vulnerable and build a strong, shared future for our community. The candidate must have the drive to stand up for Northern Ireland in the European Parliament. They will join an influential Conservative team from around the UK, which is part of the European Conservatives and Reformists group in Brussels.”
Prospective candidates are invited to send their application to [email protected] or to Euro Applications, 84 High Street, Bangor. BT20 5BA.
