Neil Wilson has condemned graffiti in East Belfast, as a “dangerous generalisation”.
The message, which said: “Foreign nationals, take your herion (sic) home” appeared in recent days off the Beersbridge Road.
Neil said: “The recent discovery of syringes in an entry off Clara Street is a cause for concern. However this graffiti seems to imply that all ‘foreign nationals’ are to blame. This message is both deliberately menacing and deliberately misleading.
“Anyone with information about drug dealing of any kind should report it to the PSNI and refrain from vandalism and dangerous generalisations that will only divide the community.”
