Northern Ireland Conservative Future and Queen's University Belfast Conservative Future are hosting their inaugural debate as they embark on their most ambitious year yet. In light of the highly anticipated release of The Iron Lady film, a debate of Baroness Thatcher's legacy is being held at Queen's University Belfast Students' Union on February 7th 2012.
This is an invaluable opportunity for Conservatives, Unionists, and individuals from all political classes to reflect on contemporary political issues at the heart of the political arena, and how it informs the current state of the nation. Furthermore, the debate, which will be led by representatives from, Q.U.B. and North Down CF, the Young Greens, and Labour Students (TBC), is designed to attract inquisitive minds from across the University, as well as a wide spectrum of individuals who have a keen interest in the political landscape.
Do not hesitate to contact the debate organisers, Q.U.B. CF Chairman, Conal O'Hare ([email protected]), or Down Deputy Area Chairman, Dean Russell ([email protected]). Following the debate, a summary of the arguments will be available on our website at www.nicf.co
Queen's University Belfast Students' Union, Clubroom 2, Tuesday 7th February, 2012, 7PM.
